DZS Gallery Call for Art: Introductions
DZS Gallery is proud to announce Introductions, our first open call for art! This virtual exhibition serves as both a debut for the gallery and an opportunity to connect with new artists. We invite student, early-stage, and emerging artists of all visual art mediums to submit work for consideration. This is a chance to showcase your art, introduce yourself to our growing community, and be part of the gallery’s launch.
About DZS Gallery:
Founded by artist and curator Lisa Britton, DZS Gallery is dedicated to uplifting and promoting student, early-career, and emerging artists. Our mission is to provide a platform for artists at pivotal stages in their careers, offering visibility, connection, and professional growth opportunities.
Theme: Introductions
This inaugural exhibition is about first impressions, fresh perspectives, and making your mark. There is no set subject matter, simply submit work that represents you and your artistic voice. Whether it’s a signature piece, an experimental work, or something deeply personal, we want to see what you have to share.
Eligibility:
Open to student, early-career, and emerging artists working in any visual art medium, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and more. Artists from any country are welcome to apply, and there are no educational requirements.
Important Information:
Submission Fee: $20 for 1–5 images (minimum 72 dpi), non-refundable
Image Formatting: Please title your images in the following format: first name_last name_title of artwork
Submission Opens: September 18, 2025
Submission Deadline: October 3, 2025
Notification of Decisions: October 12, 2025 (by the end of day)
Exhibition Dates: November 2, 2025 - December 7, 2025
Introductions will be hosted on the DZS Gallery website and promoted across our platforms. We can’t wait to see your work!
